Experience & Background

Bill is Professor Emeritus of Economics at California State University, Northridge, as well as an economist and statistician for PFC.  Bill has worked with PFC since 2013 testifying for both plaintiffs and defendants on lost income and class action wage and hour.  Bill also performs valuations of stock purchases and option plans.

Bill started teaching at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 1973 and has taught economics and business strategy for over 40 years, including one year as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the National University of Singapore.  Also, Bill has taught econometrics, both theoretical and applied, at the undergraduate and graduate (MA and MBA) levels. 

For ten years, Bill worked as the Director of the San Fernando Valley Economic Research Center at CSUN.  He extracted data from more extensive data sets for the Greater Los Angeles area to provide statistically meaningful descriptions of the Valley.

Bill is co-author of a money and banking textbook, Money and Banking: A Market-oriented Approach, and the author of numerous refereed journal articles about finance, growth and development, and the assessment of educational learning objectives.

Education

Bill received his B.A. in Economics from Macalester College, Saint Paul, Minnesota.  He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
