A. Lynn Matthews

Ph.D. – Business: Marketing

Experience & Background

Lynn engages in questionnaire-based research and data analysis.  She has been with Phillips, Fractor & Company, LLC since 2011.  Sampling, questionnaire design, data analysis, marketing, marketing research, and survey quality are all areas within her expertise.  She also possesses academic experience with trademark and consumer confusion issues, experimental design and analysis, and mixed-methods research.

Lynn works as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Wichita State University’s Barton School of Business in Wichita, KS.  She regularly teaches classes in Marketing Research.  Within this role, she conducts questionnaire-based, experimental, and qualitative marketing research for her academic work and for local organizations.  Lynn has published multiple pieces of academic research on these issues, including a journal article on non-sampling error that the California Supreme Court cited in Duran v. U.S. Bank National Assoc.

Education

Lynn earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in Business: Marketing.  She also earned an M.S. in Survey Research and Methodology from the same institution, during which time she worked as a Gallup Research Scholar.  Previously, she earned her B.A. in Sociology from Grove City College.
