Data Scientist

Experience & Background

Sean is a data scientist and statistician specializing in wage-hour and other employment litigation.  He joined the PFC team in 2003.  Sean has worked on numerous wage-hour cases, both class action and multi-plaintiff.  He is an expert on drawing information from employee time and payroll data for both plaintiff and defense counsel.  Sean has also worked with many other forms of data, including point-of-sale and other transaction data (to establish off-the-clock work time).  He has analyzed large databases and sets of data for other forms of litigation.  Sean also creates useful databases from poorly formatted sources, including information that may initially appear unusable or obfuscated.  He is also knowledgeable about public and private data sources, including demographic data, U.S. Census data, and economic and financial data.
